Stefan Krumm is a professor of psychological assessment and personality psychology at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. His research interests include the inner workings of Situational Judgment Tests, virtual teamwork competencies and, more generally, personnel selection. He has recently started to look at feedback as an essential part of psychological assessment instruments. That is, by not only gathering information from test-takers (e.g., about traits), specifically designed feedback on the test results may also function as an intervention for future (trait-related) behavior. Specifically, Situational Judgment Tests, if extended to provide feedback on correct solutions, may qualify not just as assessments, but also as training tools.
